Yakkasaroy is an administrative-territorial district in Tashkent. It was founded in 1936 as Frunze district. In 1992, the district was called Yakkasaroy district. T

he district is located in the southern and partially central part of Tashkent.

Yakkasaroy is the smallest district of the city by area. Tashkent is the only district of Tashkent that does not have a common border with the Tashkent region.

It is located in the central part of the capital. Today, Yakkasaroy district has 21 neighborhoods.
