Construction and renovation works on Mustaqillik Shoh Street: precise analysis and engineering solutions behind every stage

Construction and renovation works on Mustaqillik Shoh Street in Mirzo Ulugbek District are progressing rapidly.

Practical works on the site began on July 2. However, the project is not limited to works on the construction site only. It is worth noting that preparatory works started in February of this year: specialists conducted engineering surveys, studied traffic and pedestrian flows, and also collected and analyzed statistical data.

In addition, specialists modeled traffic flows on a computer, digitally tested various movement scenarios, and assessed the road’s capacity and safety indicators. The most optimal solutions were developed based on real data, engineering calculations, and multi-stage analysis.

Currently, within the project on the 1.7-kilometer section of Mustaqillik Shoh Street:

— 23,039 m² of old road surface is being milled; — 28,984 m² of basalt geogrid is being laid; — 23,039 m² of asphalt-concrete pavement is being laid; — 23,039 m² of high-quality PShMA-20 — polymer-modified stone-mastic asphalt-concrete pavement is being laid; — 1,143 meters of drainage trays are being renewed; — 1,300 meters of new curbs are being installed; — 67 new lighting poles are being installed; — In addition, 3 new modern bus stops are being installed along the street, waiting areas at the stops are being expanded, and other landscaping works aimed at improving the overall appearance of the street are being carried out.

The main goal is to transform Mustaqillik Shoh Street into a more convenient, safe, and efficient street for drivers, pedestrians, and public transport passengers based on modern engineering solutions.
